Luckily, the weather is finally starting to cooperate and it's beginning to feel a lot more like summer. We even broke out the new water table (or Georgia calls it "the anchors away pirate ship" --- fairly certain the company is paying her to say it every time).
This was the first week that we were outside almost daily after dinner. It was just too gorgeous to stay inside. Georgia played well past dark (and past her bedtime) with her neighbor BFF on Sunday night...
|Who wants to go inside when it's still 80+ degrees at bed time?!!?|
KC has been loving life on the deck lately. Unfortunately, one night, she accidentally got left behind on the deck after we all went to bed. Our poor pampered princess had never spent the night outside. Heck, she barely has spent any time outside. Georgia and I came downstairs on Thursday morning and didn't even realize she was missing until we opened the back door and were greeted by a very distressed cat! Ooops. Sorry, KC! After some water, food and a little loving, she didn't seem too rocked by her overnight camping adventure.
We celebrated Memorial Day weekend with lots of pool time. Nick threatened to wear his wet suit into the frigid water. Georgia jumped right in and never looked back! The kid is part fish.
We didn't have tball due to the holiday weekend, but we did finally get her pictures back from this year. Nothing like a photo session during a windy downpour!
Everything seems to be wrapping up in the next few weeks.... tball, dance, school, etc. We're looking forward to a long and lazy summer!
