May in Maryland...

One local weather group declared that spring in the DC area lasted for approximately one month... April.  Since then, it's been all summer all the time here.  We've been taking advantage and spending as much time outside enjoying the sun and the beautiful weather.  Last weekend we spent as much time as possible outside.

After work on Friday, I played in our weekly work softball game.  We're still undefeated - Go GES!  I rushed home to get Georgia since our local elementary school was having a large outdoor carnival to support their PTA.  Georgia loved playing the games, jumping around the bounce house, and playing with her friends.

My future little softball player!

At work on Friday, everyone was talking about the website http://how-old.net.  When we got home on Friday night after the carnival, I made Nick and I "take the test."  Nick wasn't a huge fan since his picture declared that he was elderly.  However, I was pretty happy with my results!!!  Oh to be 18 again!

On Saturday, we got to spend a few hours visiting with Auntie and Uncle Andrew since they were in town for just one day to attend a baptism for friends.  We met up for lunch in Bethesda and my child was literally handed out of a car window because she couldn't contain her excitement when she spotted her Auntie on the street!  Again, it was perfect weather to enjoy drinks and lunch on the patio at Black's.

Auntie came bearing more Paw Patrol birthday presents, including the ever elusive Zuma, who we have been hunting down for months!  Zuma hasn't left Georgia's side since he arrived.

Auntie and Uncle Andrew needed to make a quick fashion change before heading to their party, so we borrowed Nick's office for the primp session.  Meanwhile, Georgia discovered that Daddy's office has fun toys!

Georgia declared that she needed a photo of her and Auntie (and Zuma) before we left the building...

On Sunday, we were up bright and early for a photo shoot with our favorite family photographer, Stacey from Labor of Love Photography.  Stacey did Georgia's newborn shoot, 1st birthday pictures, and 2nd birthday pictures.  We skipped out on 3 year old photos, since we took 10,000+ photos during our Disney trip around Georgia's birthday, which is typically when we do our yearly pictures.  However, later in the year, we were missing our yearly Stacey photos, so we knew we had to set up another photo shoot for this year.

After our pictures, we headed to Seasons 52 for another outdoor lunch.  I have a mild obsession with their lobster flatbread...

I also have a mild obsession with this cute kid...

And her Daddy too...

I managed to take an accidental pic of myself while snapping photos of our food and family and actually liked the result more than any other "selfie" I've ever taken of myself.  With a little help from the Instagram filters, I wasn't looking too bad, even with my RBF (that's resting-bitch-face --- it's a real thing!)...

We got home and changed out of our picture clothes and got comfy for an afternoon in the backyard.  Beautiful weather = playing in the back yard with friends/neighbors and shagging balls while the Dads work on their golf game...

Unfortunately, Nick was off to Chicago for a conference for the rest of the week, so we packed him up and shipped him off on Sunday night.  Girls week in the Thoman House...
