The Weekly Random...

Phew... what a crazy busy few weeks!  Blogging has definitely taken a back seat to life these days.   The weekdays have been long and the weekends have been full of parties, activities, and other on-goings in the neighborhood.  Nick spent last week at a conference in Vegas, so Georgia and I were hanging home alone until Mimi joined us mid-week.  Then, it became "ladies week" at our house.

The weather is finally cooperating with the idea of spring and our daffodils are popping up in the front yard.  Of course, that means we've got lots of upcoming yard work and prep to get the lawn and deck ready for time outside!  I'm on spring break all next week and I've got a super long to-do list to handle throughout the week while Georgia is at school and Nick at work.

So, we've been up to...

Nick thought he'd take Georgia to the golf course for some early spring training.  The wind had other ideas, so they weren't there for very long!

Trying out her new clubs!

Georgia has graduated from the racecar grocery shopping cart to the push-your-own mini shopping cart to.... the elderly cart!

She loves it!

Georgia has been practicing her writing at home to show us all the things she learns at school each day.  Smart kiddo - she loves to write her name and her Mimi's name...

It's been birthday party central in our neighborhood for the past few weeks.  Little Miss Scotlynn turned one with a fun-filled Irish theme birthday bash a few weeks ago.  We all wore our best green outfits and had a blast in their photo booth for her memory book...

Georgia and I jetted off to the Metropolitan Ballet Theatre and Academy's Sleeping Beauty Tea Party on another morning.  Originally scheduled for February, it was snowed out and the make-up date fell on an already busy weekend, but we managed to squeeze in some ballet time...

Also, on the agenda the past week... Georgia's last winter ballet class (aka - parents observe day), the neighborhood Easter egg hunt, Daddy leaves, Mimi arrives, daily egg hunts and Easter!  All coming up soon... I promise!!
