Beginning of fall randomness...

The calendar may have officially declared the beginning of fall here in the DC area, but someone forgot to let Mother Nature in on that news.  We welcomed in fall with some warm days that were perfect for squeezing in some more play time outside.  We're trying to take advantage of all these beautiful afternoons knowing that before long, we'll be forced indoors by short days and cooler weather.

Hanging out on the neighbor's lawn!

More fun with the neighbors

Thank goodness Jayson is in Georgia's class at school because they adore each other.  I walked into school this week and Georgia's "All About Me" poster included him...

However, there also appears to be a new man in Georgia's life.  We're not quite sure who this Sean is, but he seems to have had some influence on Georgia at school.  When I arrived to pick her up last week, her teacher let me know that she had a very "emotional day."  Oh boy!  No worries, Georgia and her teacher wrote me a note to explain her emotions from the day...

The best part about the note was that Georgia has no clue what YOGA even is as we've never explained it, never done it, etc.  But Sean getting to leave class to go to something special seemed to rock her world!

Back at home... Nick has decided to finally put the dry pond behind our house to good use - it's his new driving range and he even managed to find a caddy...

We decided to head to Costco last weekend and we almost came home with a pony.  Mimi offered to buy the horse for her after seeing the photo.  We let Mimi know that the horse might need a stable in Massachusetts...
