It's Beginning to Look a Lot...

We've officially been back from the Bahamas for a few weeks now and it's been a whirlwind of activities, decorating the house, parties/get-togethers, etc.

But before anything else, I decided that we were owed a traditional Thanksgiving dinner upon our return.  So, the Monday after we returned home from the Bahamas, I fired up the double ovens and whipped together a big dinner and surprised Nick when he walked in from work...

The works - turkey, squash, potatoes, corn, stuffing, cranberry, gravy, rolls, etc.

I used a little help with the pre-cut squash, Stovetop stuffing, and pre-smoked turkey!

Georgia loved the turkey and DEVOURED the cranberry!!

Next on the list... decorate the house for the holidays!!  As always, Nick did a fabulous job with the exterior around the house...

Front of the house

This year, we added lights to the deck too, since more people see that area of the house than the front

We added some snowflakes to the pergola too!

While he was outside, I dug up the snowman army from the basement...

Part of the snowman army in the house!

Georgia & KC's stockings

A huge thanks to my Auntie Elaine for handing down some of her carolers to me last year.  They've made a nice addition to the sofa table this year and Georgia loves looking at the "dolls."

Georgia's Christmas photo with her favorite reindeer!

And the centerpiece of the living room...

Our Christmas tree, including the stubborn bottom branch which refuses to light even though Nick has tinkered with it multiple times pulling each and every bulb out.  Damn you, tree, we will fix you!!

And the entryway...

I love the stairs all lit up at night

You have to love Pinterest at this time of year.  I never know what to do with all the holiday cards and pictures we get every year.  This year, there is a plan...
