Cookie Bake 2012

Another vacation interruption update from this past weekend...

One of our favorite pre-Christmas traditions is Cookie Bake with Nick's family here in Maryland.  I still remember the first time I heard/saw about "Cookie Bake" was back when Nick and I were first dating.  It was our 2nd or 3rd date and he had just come from the yearly event.  He showed me a picture of all the cookies that were baked that day and I was BLOWN away!

2012 was our 6th Cookie Bake together and our 2nd with Georgia.  She was most entertained by her discovery of the piano at her Aunt Susan and Uncle Malon's house...

Georgia had so much fun exploring the house and watching all the action...

Checking out the action below...

Playing with all the kids in the basement

The weather for cookie bake weekend is never predictable.  Some years, it has snowed and some years have been toasty warm.  This year was in-between, but no white stuff on the ground...

Exploring the backyard fountain with Daddy

Georgia enjoyed playing with Bennett's toys, although she wasn't such a big fan of him playing with HER toys.  "Mine!!!"  Poor Bennett.  By Saturday afternoon, Georgia would pat him on the head and say, "Hi Bena!"

And back to the piano....

She was completely stunned by the auto-play feature!

Rock star in training!
