Goodbye Bethesda... Hello Clarksburg!

After spending the past few years in Bethesda, we're heading north to Clarksburg.  We both loved Bethesda, especially since it was a quick commute to work for both of us.  Our condo in Bethesda also had some great perks, including...

Our amazing view

Our favorite restaurants were just a quick metro ride away

The Grosvenor metro stop was right outside our building

Quick access to our favorite activities in DC - Go Nats!

We also had a great pool/patio area, a beautiful balcony, and other high-rise living perks, like a gym in the building.  We definitely took advantage of having the metro right outside our door.  We spent many weekends exploring DC and all of the wonderful sites, museums, and restaurants that the city has to offer.

We sold Nick's condo at the end of August, but moved out in mid-August to give us some time to move back into my condo before the new school year started back up.  Moving is always stressful!  This move was a little more difficult because we had to decide what went into storage and what came with us to my condo.

Lots of boxes involved - most headed to storage for the next few months

All packed and ready to go!
We've settled nicely into life at my condo in Gaithersburg.  I purchased the two bedroom unit back in 2005 and had rented it out while we lived at Nick's condo.  We spent a few weeks scrubbing, cleaning, and making some repairs before we were ready to move in.

Poor KC is so confused by the move

It was quite a challenge to decide what to unpack and what to leave in boxes.  However, since we're going to be here for at least 6-8 months, it seems like we unpack a bit more everyday.  I think we'll all be happy when the new house is ready.  As I keep saying, "I'm NEVER moving again!"  I'm hoping we're in the new house for a very, very long time.
